Case Management
HMS helps managed care plans when they are responsible for identifying and recovering Medicaid or Medicare expenditures for members injured through the willful or negligent action of another party. HMS provides rapid case identification through referrals and data matches, effective communication with stakeholders (including providers, attorneys, insurers), and efficient case management.
All activities associated with the casualty case management process are tracked using HMS's proprietary Subrogation Recovery System. We use the System to manage casualty and workers' compensation recovery cases, including:
- Creating correspondence
- Tracking case activity
- Importing and exporting case data
- Prioritizing cases
